Both courses qualify for CPD accreditation of 8hrs.
The Showstop Procedure Course is an intense and immersive one day course, specifically designed for those individuals who operate in safety critical roles at  strategic, tactical and operational decision levels for crowd safety at the full range of events. There are two course options available:
The Certificate of Attendance invites those individuals for professional development and also to gain a better understanding, of the Showstop Procedure. This course option has proven popular with local authorities, Police and venue operators.
The Professional Certificate in Showstop Procedure is for event professionals who can evidence a minimum of three years events experience in a supervisory or management role within venue operations, event safety, event security, or event production including stage managers, medical teams, control room operator’s and other safety critical roles. A referee is needed to confirm this experience.
Those who qualify for the Professional Certificate in Showstop Procedure will attend the same course as the Certificate of Attendance participants, but will be required to sit a formal examination at the end of the course.
